Inheribase is inheritance infrastructure that ensures your most important files reach the right people after you’re gone. Your files are encrypted on your device, stored on a network built to last 200 years, and delivered to your designated heirs automatically — with no monthly fees, no legal intermediaries, and no single point of failure.

The Digital Void Problem

Your most valuable digital assets — private legal directives, estate documents, family archives, and cryptocurrency keys — are fragile by default. Three systemic risks threaten them:
  1. The Subscription Trap: If you stop paying a monthly fee, your legacy is deleted. Cloud providers treat storage as a rental, not a right.
  2. Custodial Risk: You do not own your data. You are a tenant in someone else’s data center, subject to their terms, their policies, and their continued operation.
  3. The Governance Gap: Traditional cloud providers have no reliable mechanism to transfer assets to heirs without violating security protocols or requiring months of court-ordered probate.
Inheribase replaces fragile rented storage with a multi-layered protocol designed for generational timeframes.

Three Pillars of Sovereign Inheritance

Permanent Storage

Instead of a monthly bill that your heirs might forget to pay, you fund your vault with pay-as-you-go Vault Credits. Your data is stored permanently on the Arweave Network — a blockchain-based storage system backed by a 200-year endowment model. Once your files are uploaded, they persist regardless of whether Inheribase as a company continues to operate.

Zero-Trace Sovereignty

Inheribase encrypts your files with AES-256-GCM entirely on your device before anything leaves your browser. This “Digital Airlock” means Inheribase never holds your keys, never sees your files, and cannot be compelled to reveal them — not by court order, not by data breach, not by internal malfeasance. You are the sole cryptographic authority over your vault.

Guardian-Governed Succession

Inheribase uses Shamir’s Secret Sharing (SSS) to distribute the authority of your vault among trusted contacts called Guardians. Your vault key is split into fragments — no single Guardian (or Inheribase itself) can access your vault alone. When succession conditions are met, the required threshold of Guardians cooperate to reconstruct the key and deliver your assets to your designated heirs.

Who Is Inheribase For?

Inheribase serves anyone who wants to ensure their important digital assets don’t disappear when they’re no longer around to manage them. Individual asset holders:
  • Cryptocurrency owners — Secure private keys and seed phrases against permanent loss
  • Professionals — Protect client files, intellectual property, and business records
  • Estate planners — Maintain secure records of client digital assets alongside traditional legal documents
Families:
  • Preserving memories — Protect irreplaceable photos, videos, and journals that deserve to outlast any single corporation
  • Multi-generational estates — Ensure continuity when family leadership changes by recording asset locations and access information securely

Setup Overview

Most users complete their initial vault setup in under five minutes:
1

Create your account

Register with your email and verify your identity using a secure one-time code.
2

Upload your assets

Drag documents, keys, or media files into the vault. Encryption happens entirely in your browser.
3

Add Guardians

Invite 3 or 5 trusted contacts by email. Each receives one encrypted fragment of your vault key.
4

Add Heirs

Designate up to 5 recipients by name and email. They are notified only when a release event occurs.
5

Choose a Release Trigger

Configure a Dead Man’s Switch (liveness-based) or a Manual release trigger.
No technical expertise is required. If you can use email and upload a file, you can secure your digital legacy with Inheribase.
